Leasing of transmission capacity on a geostationary telecommunications satellite

For the signalling connection of the mobile means of production, a fixed transponder capacity in the Ku-band is to be rented on a geostationary satellite (12.5°West - 30°East) with a bandwidth of 57.57 MHz. The footprint of the satellite must allow bidirectional transmissions from the territory of the Federal Republic of Germany and 500 km around its continental borders.

The room segment is used for transmission with ARD's own or rented SNG vehicles.

For the regional WDR DAB+ modulation feed of WDR, a fixed transponder capacity with a capacity of 3.5 MHz is to be rented on the geostationary satellite Astra 3B (23.5° East) or, alternatively, at the position 19.2° East.
