The service consists of the daily transfer of the users of the Son Güells Day Center, for people with Alzheimer's and other neurodegenerative diseases, most of whom have mobility problems, from their homes to the referred center and from this to their places of home. The service is provided from Monday to Friday, except holidays.
The successful tenderer must carry out the transportation of the people who have the status of beneficiaries of the service, who, due to their level of dependence and their physical conditions, which pose serious mobility problems, need this service both to move to the Center by day Son Güells (Carretera Vieja de Sineu, 12, 07007, Palma) as to return to them from the Center. To do this, the winner must use vehicles adapted for people with reduced mobility, such as buses, vans, taxis or ambulances. The maximum number of users of the service is 20. The total number of users will not be increased during the term of the contract. However, there may be downward variations in the number of users and changes in routes as a result of high and low and possible changes of address. Prolonged delays and collection delays will be avoided, as well as long journeys and transfer of users, except in cases of breakdown or justified cause. In no case may the route be longer than 45 minutes. In the case of being superior, an alternative route must be sought. Transportation will include the help necessary for the transfer of users from their home to the vehicle and vice versa, and the personal support and control necessary for adequate care and security during the provision of the service. The service must be provided from Monday to Friday, except holidays, starting at approximately 8:00 a.m. (time of the first pickups at home) and 4:45 p.m. (time at which pickups begin in the center) at function of the opening and closing hours of the day center service, without prejudice to the possibility of adjusting and adapting to the needs of its operation. No more passengers may be transported than allowed in accordance with the capacity of the means of transport used and in accordance with the applicable regulations. No predetermined routes are established since the routes and schedules will vary depending on the users who use the transport service. Neither stops nor fixed points are established due to the rotation of the users. There will be as many routes or trips as necessary to transfer all users, including the number of wheelchairs that are necessary.
