Civil engineering work for the construction of the local heating network in the residential area Rohrhammerweg, Sömmerda.

The house owners of the Rohrhammerweg will in future be supplied with heat from the new central heating system of the Sömmerda outdoor pool. For this purpose, a pipe route consisting of a supply and a return line must be laid on site. At the moment there is an old sewer partly under the new route, which will be expanded before its service.

The resulting trench is professionally filled and the surface is restored. The tendered construction work consists in carrying out shaft work in order to lead the heating route from the producer to the consumers. Most of the pipeline runs along a paved road. For the individual house connections, boards and pavement must be picked up and reinstalled after laying. It is necessary to make head holes for the individual house connections.

The pipe bed must be properly prepared in accordance with the pipe manufacturer's instructions. This should not be done in a wavy manner, so that there are no high points of the route with air pockets.

An assembly company will then lay the flexible main route. Here you have to work with the installation company, because the route has to be weighed down with sand after it has been brought in.

The outlets from the flexible main route to the individual house connections are made with KMR pipe (rigid). The installation company will put storage boxes in the sidewalk. This has to be fixed and then road caps have to be installed here.

The openings for the building entry are made on site, as is the closure of these openings. There is a piece of concrete for the last house connection
