The main purpose of the procurement is to obtain data for flood zone mapping for projects that work with physical measures against flooding and erosion and to map erosion in relation to quick clay risk. The riverbed data will be used in hydraulic models of the rivers, among other things. 

NVE estimates the value at NOK 3-5 million excluding VAT, including the option.

This tender is divided into 5 sub-projects. See the list below for details of the sub-projects and stretches of river. One of the sub-projects is set as an option. 

The map available in Appendix 6.2 shows in greater detail which areas need to be covered.

1) Mosby - from the sea outlet in Kristiansand to Vigelandsfoss at Vikeland (13.1 km stretch of river). The area is located in Agder county.

2) Egersund - From the sea outlet to Åmot. The area consists of two parts, with a gap between the areas. (A 14.7 km stretch of river in total). The area is located in Rogaland county.

3) Søgne - from the sea outlet to Eikeneset inland (17 km stretch of river). The area is located in Agder county.

4) Tuven - from the outlet at Heddalsvatnet to Brekka upstream, in addition to a small separate stretch in Notodden town (totalling 21.5 km of river). The area is located in Vestfold and Telemark county.

5) Option: Konsmo - from the sea outlet to the outlet of Ytre Øydnavatnet (32.5 km stretch of river). The area is located in Agder county.
