Overall performance - modular construction

As a grammar school upper school building for approx. 200 pupils, a free-standing, independent, three-storey building without a basement is planned on the neighbouring property of the cultural school (comprehensive school secondary level I), parcels 1038 and 1323, in modular construction. It is a classic corridor school.

The building is about 18x64m in size and about 13m high.

The 3-storey building cubature of the school body as well as the external appearance are oriented,

as suggested by the project advisory board, at the listed switchgear building as a functional part of the school building of the lower secondary level.

central development therefore also includes common areas. An adjoining small cafeteria with an output window is located on the ground floor. The teaching, staff and functional areas leading from there have a 2-hip access with a central corridor. There are further stairwells on the respective front sides.

In the course of the renewal of the public space, a parking area was built and trees were planted between the parking bays. The access road to both the site and the main entrance has been extended linearly to the Europastraße, where a curb lowering and a tactile guidance system have already been implemented, which is why the public area does not need to be adapted. The required parking spaces are planned on our own property.

The building is positioned on the property on the eastern boundary of the property in order to arrange the schoolyard in the front area and thus create a visual reference to the neighboring lower secondary level (cultural school).

For noise protection reasons, massively developed bicycle parking spaces were planned in the north and northwest, which are dissolving more and more towards the south.
