Large containers. Other containers. Provide on a rental basis storage containers of different type and size on Commonwealth Games Venues. Main characteristics of products should be as follows:
— Containers shall be available in sizes of 2.4m wide, and from 3m to 12m long,
— Containers must have a flat floor to facilitate internal movement of goods by hand trolley or forklift,
— Containers must be secure with lockable doors,
— Containers can be either wheeled portable cabins (driven into place) or skid containers (craned or flown in to position),
— Containers are to be supplied with appropriate understructure and shall be levelled on installation by the supplier,
— Due to spatial restraints containers may have to be stackable or elevated on a scaffold support,
— Containers shall be provided with ramps to facilitate loading/unloading of goods,
— Depending on their use, storage containers may require lighting and heat,
— All containers must have a like-new finish and in any case be less than 5 years old.
All commodities must comply with the Scottish Building Regulations together with any Local Authority By Laws Requirements (Glasgow City Council / North Lanarkshire Council / Edinburgh city Council / Dundee City Council / Angus Council).
The complete Work Package supplied must include:
— Project management and Scheduling services,
— Condition survey and engineering before any installation on site (ground and structural stability),
— Provision of all product specifications and certificates prior to construction/installation,
— Labour and material handlings (trucks, crane, or any other delivery system) required to install, commission, maintain and remove the product,
— Maintenance of commodities during games time.
