The abundant groundwater in the town of Wendlingen is to continue to be used to supply drinking water.
,
The own water is obtained in the three water reservoirs, gravel meadows, shepherd's houses and value. The withdrawal right permanently granted by the state of Baden-Württemberg amounts to 650,000 m³ per year.
To cover the drinking water demand, the waterworks provides a total of approx. 900,000 m per year,
of which self-contained water (total hardness: approx. 25° dH) approx. 430,000 m3 per year.
of which district water from the ZV Landeswasser (approx. 9° dH) approx. 470,000 m3 per year.
,
In the Eschle high-level tank, the three proprietary waters are mixed with the district water taken from Lake Constance and discharged into the city network via two water pipes. The total hardness of the mixed water is approximately 17.1° dH.
,
The following are used for water treatment:
,
1. UF ultrafiltration process (ultrafine filtration) for removal of possible turbidities,
viruses and bacteria.
2.UV disinfection (sterilization of water using ultraviolet light).
3. Phosphate is added to prevent corrosion in the pipe network.
It should also be possible to install a water softening system. The method of reverse osmosis UO is intended as the softening stage.
,
The chargeable costs for the construction of the waterworks (KG 300 + 400) are assumed to be approximately €2.4 million, net. This also includes process and electrotechnical equipment estimated at around €800,000, net.
For object planning architect are the building of the vehicle/warehouse,
