The Kliniken Ostalb are planning to renew part of their firewall components.

The project is put out to tender within the framework of the Hospital Future Act (KHZG) and must therefore meet parts of the required mandatory criteria of FTB 10.

A two-level firewall concept with an external and an internal firewall is operated. In this project, the construct of the internal firewall is to be replaced/renewed. For this purpose, the necessary components must be implemented at the locations Stauferklinikum Schwäbisch Gmünd, St. Anna Virngrund Klinik, Ostalbklinikum Aalen, Klinik am Ipf Bopfingen and Hirschbachhaus Aalen according to different technical specifications (see specifications technical requirements).

At the following locations, the firewalls will continue to be operated in a redundant cluster (2 hardware components each):

-Stauferklinikum Mutlangen

-Ostalbklinikum Aalen

-St. Anna Virngrundklinik Ellwangen

At the locations Klinik am Ipf Bopfingen and Hirschbachhaus Aalen, there is no hardware redundancy (1 hardware component each).

The currently used and virtualized management system for Fortinet products is up-to-date and can continue to be used when purchasing new products from this manufacturer.

If the components offered deviate from the currently implemented products of the manufacturer Fortinet, the requirements described as optional in the service description must be shown in the price sheet.
