Installation of the Offshore SwitchYard (OSY) Platform for the Modular Offshore Grid (MOG) project including but not limited to: installation, engineering, providing cargobarge, transport to the offshore location and demobilization of installation spread. Main case: installation of jacket and piles by the end of 2018, installation of topside in first half of 2019.

The final contracting entity may be:

(i) Elia Asset S.A. and/or Elia System Operator S.A.; and/or

(ii) Any company belonging to the Elia group; and/or

(iii) A new company that will be set up by one of the companies of the Elia Group.

Scope of work for the Offshore Installation Contractor:

— Installation engineering (e.g. rigging, mooring, barge tow ballast, anchor positions, etc.);

— Check Detailed Design of the permanent structure interfaces with the installation works (e.g. pad-eyes, upper grillage, clearances, noise mitigation provisions, etc.);

— Grillage and sea-fastening design (all structures);

— Obtain (engineering) approval for sail and installation from Marine Warranty Surveyor (prior sail);

— Provide cargobarge for sea-transport at fabrication yard (hand-over / pick-up at fabrication yard);

— Provide rigging at fabrication yard;

— Inspection of all installed installation aids prior sail (grillages, seafastening, guides / bumpers, rigging frames, etc.);

— Transport of project to offshore location (by tugs, towing cargobarge);

— Mobilization installation spread at offshore location (on anchors or DP);

— Perform seabed survey at offshore location prior installation of project (confirm level of seabed);

— Install pre-designed noise mitigation equipment prior pile driving;

— Install, level and weld the project packages (battered jacket max weight 1 500 ton, piles max length 100 m, topside max weight 2 000 ton);

— Remove temporary installation provisions on project (rigging frames, guides / bumpers, temporary lift braces);

— Re-install project specific items that can't be done after demobilization installation spread (helideck hatches, fall protection, ladder parts, etc.);

— Remove any debris on the platform, repair of damages caused by the Offshore Installation Contractor to permanent structures;

— Perform final seabed survey, check for any debris at seabed (and removal);

— Demobilization installation spread;

— Cleaning of cargo barge;

— As-installed engineering package.
