The subject matter of the present award procedure is a framework contract for the repair work of the bituminous hot grouting joints on the flight operations areas of Munich Airport. The scope of services is rounded off by the rehabilitation of damaged concrete edges on individual concrete slabs.
The specified quantities refer to the entire contract term, excluding option years.
The term of the framework agreement will be 4 years including 2 additional option years. For the employees of the framework contract company, airport ID cards and apron driver's licenses must be applied for in advance, so that they are available when the contract is concluded. The future Contractor must acquire a designation as a "known supplier" at Munich Airport.
The joints and maintenance points are located on the flight operations areas in the non-public area of the airport. This area includes the S/L tramways as well as the taxiways in concrete construction. Bituminous hot grouting compounds are to be used in accordance with ZTV Fug-StB 01. A joint insert must be installed in advance.
In the case of edge restoration, an artificial joint insert must be created when the mortar is applied. When selecting the mortar for edge restoration, a fast-curing material must be offered, as the surfaces must be available to traffic again within a short time. In addition, the durability of the repair materials with regard to the de-icing agents used at the airport must be taken into account.
As a rule, all work must be carried out at night during regular breaks in operation. Since the annual maintenance work is very extensive, it can be assumed that several columns will be used permanently during the period from April to the beginning of November each year and that there will be a need for suitable machinery.
A total of 122.4km of joint grouting will be carried out in various areas over the entire 4 years of the contract. widths (8-30mm) in night work. These joints are to be made using hot grouting and are divided into three widths (8mm to 13mm, 14mm to 20mm and 21mm to 30mm) and three working areas (full-surface, compact and single-surface) according to the specifications.
In addition, concrete edge repairs are to be carried out over a total length of 670m over a total of 4 years. These are also to be carried out at night in different widths and depths. Finally, the framework agreement includes the work required for the above-mentioned work. This includes core drilling in different diameters of a total depth of 3.5 m or the grinding of various ledges of 200 m.
