Nahverkehr Schwerin GmbH (NVS) operates public transport in the state capital of Schwerin. In addition to the tram operation bus lines are operated with 40 city buses.

In the years 2019 and 2022 the replacement of 8 city buses of the years of construction 2004/05 by city buses with electric drive is provided.

In 2019, three three-door, approx. 12 m long low-floor buses and 2022 five four-door, approx. 18 m long low-floor articulated buses are to be delivered. The busses are to be loaded exclusively via depot charging (also at outside locations) (charging mode 4: DC charging with connector Combo 2 in connection with a communication between vehicle and charging device). A fast charge by means of pantographs is not provided.

It is intended exclusively for the purchase (purchase) of vehicles.
