At the same time as the delivery of the new container and the repatriation of existing containers, the current shared container will be changed in terms of content to include food and beverage cartons when new pictograms are aftached, and an environmental hazardous waste box will be provided to all single-family dwellings and information material on the new collection schemes for each emptying address.
Jammerbugt Municipality has an existing system of collecting residual waste in sacks and undivided containers and the recyclable fractions paper/cardboard and plastic/metal in primarily shared containers. These collection schemes are changed with the collection of food and residual waste in mainly shared containers and have changed with the expansion of the plastic/metal fraction to plastic/metal/food and beverage cartons.
Jammerbugt Municipality therefore offers delivery, assembly and preparation of approx. 36,550 pcs. 140 l, 240 l and 360/370 l divided and undivided containers. The mounted and prepared containers must also be brought out to households and summer cottages, etc. with associated repatriation of existing containers for recycling.

Jammerbugt Municipality will implement the new collection schemes over a period of 12 weeks from 17 April 2023 to 7 July 2023 with the delivery of new shared containers, the repatriation of existing containers and the change of the contents of the existing containers of approximately 3,000 households per week.
Subsequently, additional acquisition of containers will be required for the remainder of the term of the contract.
