RTE is looking for a provider to carry out electrical tests on its power transformers following severe damage with analysis of results. These test measures may be requested by the TENs entities at any station, as part of damage investigations in order to identify the cause of the defect, or when diagnosing the condition of an apparatus, with a view to its possible rehabilitation.
The analysis of the results and recommendations to be made by the incumbent must be the subject of a test report and should enable RTE to position itself in the face of long-term decisions.
The services that can be claimed by RTE are the following electrical measures:
— Level 1 electrical measurements:
—— measurements of the capacities and dissipation factor (tg δ) of the crossings;
—— measurement of magnetization currents;
—— measurement of transformation ratios;
—— measurement of the isolation resistors of windings;
—— measurement of windings resistors;
—— measurement of short-circuit impedances;
— FRA measures:
—— frequency response measurement (FRA method);
— Level 2 electrical measurements (partial discharge measurements) — high voltage: induced voltage escalation tests with partial discharge location (requires a mobile source).
