The contractor will contract the transport and infrastructure plans, studies, expert services and support tasks in the regions of Central Finland, Southern Savonia, Northern Savonia and North Karelia between 2020 and 2023.

The framework contracts and the tasks to be carried out under them shall be divided into four (4) components as follows:

Section 1 Road and Building Design

Section 2 Pre-planning and general planning

Section 3 Transportation and roadside studies and expert services Section 4 Subscriber support tasks.

The provider may offer one or more areas.

The Contractor shall perform the following tasks on the basis of the framework contracts for Area 1:

Road and building design

- Data Model Road and Building Design

- Road plans under the Transport and Roads Act (LjMTL)

- Improvement plans

- Building plans

- ST supplements to road plans

- Design of small road safety sites

- Other similar design. Bridge design only to the extent that it is included in the above.

On the basis of the framework contracts for component 2, the contractor shall perform the following tasks:

Pre- and general planning

- Plans

- Master plans in accordance with the Transport System and Roads Act (LjMTL)

- Needs assessments

- Area Reservation Plans

- Operational reports

- Municipal road safety plans - Development studies

- Idea plans (eg road safety measures, light traffic arrangements, la-stop arrangements)

- Other similar design. Bridge design only to the extent that it is included in the above.

On the basis of the framework contracts for component 3, the contractor shall perform the following tasks:

Transport and road maintenance surveys and expert services

- Follow-up and preparation of continuous transport system work

- Land use planning studies

- Studies and reviews on sustainable mobility

- Traffic studies such as performance reviews

- Road safety reports

- Business studies (transport and logistics)

- Plans and studies relating to public transport and its organization

- Environmental studies

- Plans and reports for traffic management, traffic control, signposting and point of interest service

- Other similar design. Bridge design only to the extent that it is included in the above.

On the basis of the framework contracts for Lot 4, the Contractor shall perform the following tasks:

Subscriber Support Tasks

- Competitive tendering

- Construction

- Designing

- Supervision

- Acting as Security Coordinator

- Preparation of action and implementation programs for the repair of various road structures

- Customer support as an expert

- Other similar subscriber support.
