The Royal Borough of Greenwich and Greenwich Clinical Commissioning Group have redesigned its therapies service. A new Integrated Therapies service has been jointly commissioned that operates as a single structure.
It provides leadership, co-ordination and delivery of the Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy Services in Royal Greenwich. An essential part of Greenwich Children's Services, it will make a major contribution to our Children and Young People's Plan ambitions.
The Commissioners awarded a single contract to a single Provider. The appointed Provider is required to deliver the service from 1.9.2016 through to 31.3.2020. A further 2 year extension to 31.3.2022 will be available subject to the Provider satisfying KPIs outlined in the specification. Further information about the requirement of this service is outlined in the attached specification. The estimated value of the contract is within the window of 2 100 000 GBP to 2 500 000 GBP per annum. This value may increase or decrease over the lifetime of the contract subject to the availability of funding. TUPE applies in this Contract. The Commissioners identified social value benefits that were required from this contract. The Tenderer was required to consider social value, as part of its tender submission. In addition, the Tenderer was required to include the London Living Wage in their pricing model.
