Rehabilitation of the approx. 1.2 km long single-tube road tunnel B-434 of the northern bypass Bad Zurzach. With a few exceptions, the work is carried out during the day with single-lane traffic routing.

The master builder work includes the complete reconstruction of the banquettes on both sides (2,600 m) with new cable duct system and extinguishing water pipe, the replacement of the surface protection (12,000 m2), the replacement of the binder course and the decking in the tunnel and the pre-zone (16,000 m2), the construction of two new stacking basins and two new emergency exits, the structural adaptation of the control centre and two existing emergency exits, works pipeline construction work in the pre-zones and the construction of an infiltration basin and a pump basin.
