The Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment is the Contracting Authority for this category management Procurement and is also portfolio holder for the Cleaning category. For this tender, SZW acts as coordinating ministry for the Cleaning category and the Ministry of Defence. The Ministry wants to conclude framework agreements with a maximum of 5 different market parties. The intention is that the Agreement will take effect on 1 January 2024.

Through the framework agreements concluded, further assignments will be given by means of mini-competitions for the execution of Aesthetic and Specialist cleaning of Objects and/or Spaces at the locations of the Ministry of Defence.

This may involve the presence of hazardous substances, including CMR substances (such as Chromium 6).

The Ministry of Defense is a special government organization and has many special Objects and/or Spaces in specific environments, such as various types of barracks, shooting ranges, hangars, ships, warehouses, workshops and special equipment.

The scope of this Assignment includes all locations of the Ministry on Dutch territory, including the Wadden Islands.
