Conversion and expansion of the former US military hospital in Berlin Lichterfelde into the FUBIC innovation center.
The building is centrally located as a free-standing large structure with a base of approx. 60m x 120m on a development site of approx. five hectares. It has two basement floors and six above-ground full floors (ground floor - 5th floor). The upper floors are designed as blocks with dimensions of 20 x 118 m.

Fire alarm systems:

The building and the battery storage system will receive a nationwide BMA (Cat. 1) in accordance with DIN EN 54, DIN 14675 and DIN VDE 0833, consisting of two fire alarm control panels, with connection to the fire brigade control centre and a second transmission path to an external monitoring centre.
In the western entrance area of the building are the initial information point (FAT, FBF), the FSD 3 and the FSE, as well as the flashing light. The units are largely monitored by multi-criteria detectors, and the false ceiling is also monitored. In some areas, aspirating smoke detectors and hand-held detectors are used. There is a dynamic fire control of the elevators, the supply and exhaust air and the fire dampers are controlled via the GA.

In the technology center, each rental unit is monitored, the last person is activated by the EMA, and the entrances to the rental unit are monitored with motion detectors
There are independent tenants in the business incubator, so you can log in and out via card reader when entering the building, arming takes place when all users are logged out, monitoring of access to the rental unit with motion detectors
Public/semi-public areas: Arming occurs last when all users are logged out and all rental units are activated; Comprehensive monitoring is carried out according to the trap principle.
