Insurance of patrimonial, personal and civil liability risks derived from the use of motor vehicles and boats of the provincial council of Ourense

The term of provision of the service will be two (2) years, in such a way that the policy will take effect at 00:00 hours on July 1, 2023, expiring at 24:00 hours on June 30, 2025, being susceptible to two extensions of one year each, without the total duration of the contract, including agreed extensions, may exceed four (4) years. The extensions will be agreed by the contracting authority, and the insurance company must notify its opposition to the contractor at least three months before the expiration of each annuity. In the event that this contract is terminated, and as long as the new public tender that is called for this purpose is resolved, the insurance company will be obliged to extend the contract in force in an extraordinary way, if the policyholder so requests, during the maximum period of 6 months for the resolution of the new tender. The insurance company waives its right to cancel the contract during its term, after the occurrence of an accident. Regardless of the date of award, its notification to the successful tenderer or the signing of the contract, the effect of the contract will begin on the date indicated in the previous paragraph, so that the successful tenderer will be obliged to compensate all claims covered by the policy that must be paid in accordance with the conditions established in the Technical Specifications.
