The Contractor shall inform the Client immediately if, on the basis of its special expertise, it comes to the conclusion that, due to special weather conditions (e.g. prolonged drought), other maintenance periods or intervals appear to be required temporarily or in the longer term in order to maintain the proper condition of the green spaces covered by the contract than specified in the service description. If the use of plant protection products is absolutely necessary, the contractor must explain the reasons for this to the client in writing, stating the plant protection product to be used. With the justification of the necessity, the contractor must submit to the client a copy of the certificate of competence issued by the competent authority in accordance with § 9 para. 1 PflSchG. As far as leaf blowers/blowers, leaf vacuums, etc. are used in the green areas, they must be powered by a battery.

As part of the winter service, the following tasks must be carried out, among others:

The winter service must be carried out in such a way that the duty to ensure traffic safety is fulfilled on the designated areas.
