New Framework Agreement — Light sources for VFK and TFK.

The Contracting Authority:

The Contracting Authority is the 2 counties Vestfold and Telemark. These counties have a total of just over 420 000 inhabitants and approx. 3 800 employees. The counties are politically governed at regional administration level, with their own county council and county mayor as the top manager. The 2 counties have their own administration with the accompanying entities. The counties have an important assignment in society and are central development actors.

The contract's content and extent:

The objective of the procurement is to establish parallel Framework Agreements for light sources. The objective of the Framework Agreement is to achieve optimal terms, environmentally friendly products with a long lifetime, simplify the procurements and be provided good product training and courses for the participants of the agreement.

The 2 counties have their own administration with the accompanying entities. The counties have an important assignment in society and are central development actors.

The main assignment is to operate and develop the counties within sixth form college education, transport and dental health and to see to the role of regional development participant by facilitating the development of businesses and jobs, influencing how areas are used, preserving cultural memorials, landscape and environment qualities. The counties are working actively with the digitalisation of services and work processes. It is important to ensure good future-orientated systems that support fully-digitalised work processes. Joint ICT platforms and systems must be modern and have good availability and performance: this also applies to this procurement.

The contract's content and extent:

The objective of the procurement is to establish parallel Framework Agreements for light sources. The objective of the Framework Agreement is to achieve optimal terms, environmentally friendly products with a long lifetime, simplify the procurements and be provided good product training and courses for the participants of the agreement.

The total value of the contract is approx. 1 000 000 NOK, excluding VAT per annum. The estimated value is based on statistics for the procurement of equivalent products for a similar buyer group for previous years, as well as future budgets. The volume must therefore be considered an estimate that is not binding for the Contracting Authority.
