The Contractor shall provide the Services for an Alcohol Diversion Scheme to enable the Force to exercise discretion to provide the Forces’ Custody Units with an alternative rehabilitation solution for an adult offender, who has been arrested for alcohol related offences.
The aim of the Scheme is to achieve a reduction in the level of alcohol fuelled crime and the possibility of reoffending, to minimise the risk to the individuals and the wider community.
