1. The subject of the contract is the performance of active protection treatments on meadow and peatland habitats – part II:

Part I - Natura 2000 area Chełm peat bogs PLH060023, Cow Swamp PLH060011 and Stone PLH060067;

Part II - Natura 2000 Chełmskie Peat Bogs PLH060023 and Cow Swamp PLH060011.

2. A detailed description of the object of the contract is set out in Annex 1 to the SWZ, which is at the same time Annex 1 to the contract.

1. The scope of the contract includes:

Part I - Carrying out active protection treatments on meadow habitats

and peat bogs consisting of a disposable mechanical

(or manual) mowing of herbaceous vegetation. Protective treatments related to

with mowing herbaceous vegetation concern:

• preparatory work including, m.in, field visions, preparation of access roads, etc.,

• disposable, mechanical (or manual) depending on the local conditions of mowing herbaceous vegetation, the equipment should be selected in such a way as not to damage the turf and not to leave ruts,

• the obtained biomass should be collected and removed from the habitat area within no more than 2 weeks from mowing, and then disposed of in accordance with applicable regulations,

• preparation of 3 reports (3 copies each) of the work carried out separately for each area.

Part II - Performing active protection treatments, consisting in one-time, mechanical (or manual) removal of shrubs and individual trees. Active protection treatments will include:

• one-time, mechanical (or manual) felling of shrubs

and individual trees, mainly hawthorns, willows and birches, application of a mixture of mycelium (fungi of native species occurring

within the boundaries of the Natura 2000 site Chełmskie Peat Bogs PLH060023

and Cow Swamp PLH060011) with water to accelerate the decomposition of trunks and inhibit outgrowths,

• removal of biomass from felling outside the range of the habitat

and developing/disposing of it in accordance with the law on their own,

• preparation of 2 reports (3 copies each) of the work carried out separately for each area.
