In the course of the implementation of the EC WFD and in order to adapt the Erft to the changed conditions after the end of opencast lignite mining, the Erftverband has drawn up the Erft perspective concept. The Erft renaturation to be awarded here concerns sections 6-9 of the concept. The project area is located between Grevenbroich-Wevelinghoven and Neuss Museum Island Hombroich.
For the currently around 6.1 km long, heavily developed stretch of water, a water renaturation that is as consistent with the guiding principle as possible is to be planned. For this purpose, engineering services are to be provided in accordance with the HOAI in the areas of object planning (hydraulic engineering planning), structural engineering, surveying as well as landscape planning services, considerations of species protection and environmental compatibility, hydraulic calculations and soil management.
Chargeable costs of approx. EUR 12.3 million for the civil engineering structures according to § 44 HOAI and EUR 0.9 million for the structural design according to § 52 HOAI are expected.
Engineering services according to HOAI in the version valid from 01.01.2021:
1. Services for civil engineering structures according to § 43 HOAI, LP 1-9, incl. additional special services (e.g. local construction supervision)
The achievements of LP 5-9 (basic services and special services) are optionally awarded.
2. Services for structural engineering according to § 51 HOAI, LP 1-6
The achievements of LP 5-6 are optional.
3. Services for hydraulic calculations:
As part of the design and approval planning, the existing 2D model is to be expanded to include the selected new route. The bidder is free to use a different model software as long as the data transfer for the continuation of the model of the Erftverband can be ensured by the bidder. The calculations must be used to iteratively optimize the planning, to prove the effectiveness of the measure and to carry out the restriction test.
4. Services for soil and subsoil assessment, soil management and soils worthy of protection:
As part of the project work, a soil management plan must be drawn up in accordance with the client's specifications. The scope of services essentially includes the description of the subsoil, risk assessments, mass assessments, soil management and the handling of soils worthy of protection. As part of the construction process, pedological and technical construction supervision is optionally part of the service.
5. Services for landscape planning according to § 26 HOAI, LP 1-4:
As part of the project work, basic landscape planning services are to be provided in the form of an accompanying landscape conservation plan. As special achievements, the species protection assessment level I and II must be carried out. As part of the construction process, ecological construction supervision is optionally part of the service.
6. Services for specialist planning and consulting services:
According to Appendix 1 1.1.1 HOAI, an environmental impact study must be carried out (LP 1-4). Optionally, services of surveying during planning for LP 5 and optionally services of construction surveying in accordance with Appendix 1 1.4.4 and 1.4.7 HOAI are to be provided.
