The Koning Willem II College in Tilburg intends to radically renew its accommodation on its own site and make it future-proof again. The reason for this radical renewal is that, after a thorough study, it has been established that both the educational functionality and the technical quality of the buildings are insufficient according to current standards. In particular, the pronounced profile of the Koning Willem II College cannot be sufficiently facilitated by this. Moreover, the operating costs threaten to become uncontrollable because of the poor constructional condition.

The new building is based on 1650 students.

The new school is expected to employ 95 FTE teaching staff. In addition, 25 FTEs of educational support staff will be present.

The intended location is located on Tatraweg in Tilburg. The location is divided into two zoning plans; Groenewoud (education) and Stappegoor (sports). The planning will take place in both zoning plans outside the current building areas.

Gross floor area, part of new construction 11,000 m2. Gross surface of existing part of renovation 4,300 m2.

The scope of the assignment amounts to approximately € 22,500,000 excluding VAT, this does not include the site layout.
