The Schwarzwald-Baar Klinikum in Villingen-Schwenningen intends to replace radiotherapy with a fourth

Linear accelerators. The subject of the procedure is the planning and turnkey construction of the extension of a radiation protection bunker as an extension of the existing building of the hospital on level 02, where three linear accelerators are already in operation.

The basis of the procedure is the existing design and approval planning including building permit and static/MEP specialist planning. The procurement of the linear accelerator is carried out by the client himself.

The scope of the project is as follows:

- Planning update from LPH5, structural engineering (statics) from LPH4

- A radiation protection bunker including necessary ancillary rooms and technical rooms for an additional linear accelerator

- Dismantling and disposal measures in existing buildings on a small scale

- Connection to the existing building including technical integration.

In order to achieve cost and schedule certainty with regard to the extension at an early stage, the Schwarzwald-Baar Klinikum would like to award the new building as a combined planning and construction tender for turnkey implementation.
