Dispatch, testing and results messaging for Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) testing kits.

Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust (WHAC) is the current provider of specialist Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (SRH) services to the populations of Worcestershire and Herefordshire.

In line with the professional bodies draft standards (British Association for Sexual Health and HIV (BASHH), and The Faculty for Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (FSRH)), Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust is looking to enhance its specialist SRH service provision through tendering for a clinically-effective online service provider of screening for chlamydia, gonorrhoea, HIV and syphilis.

The provider will be required to receive requests for Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) test kits, dispatch tests, process returned tests and manage the communication of results.

Testing volumes will be reviewed with the successful provider to support increased testing coverage as part of National Chlamydia Screening Programme (NCSP) activities as well as a self-management approach for asymptomatic patients seeking screening without the need to attend specialist services.
