The project consists of deepening 4 shallows in Karmsundet by a total of 102 405 m³ rock to the depths partially -10.3 and partially -12.3.

There are 3 shallows at Husøy and one at Garpeskjærkai.

The blasted stone matter shall be transported to Killingøy for the establishment of new land area in the sea. The project also consists of casting 4 concrete foundations under water for the assembly of new sailing markers.
