The Museum of London is looking to award Keltbray Built Environment Ltd to provide demolition works as part the Museum of London's New Museum Project. These works are to be contracted as a trade contract with the Museum of London, working under its nominated Construction Manager. These works shall comprise the planning, sequencing, management, temporary works design, coordination, project specific method statements, technical submittals, risk assessments, delivery, offloading, storage, distribution, setting out, positioning, demolition, strip-out, integration of specialists Trade Contract designs, monitoring, and handover of the complete Strip-Out and Demolition Works.
This Trade Contract Works shall comprise the planning, sequencing, management, temporary works design, coordination, project specific method statements, technical submittals, risk assessments, delivery, offloading, storage, distribution, setting out, positioning, demolition, strip-out, integration of specialists Trade Contract designs, monitoring, and handover of the complete Strip-Out and Demolition Works to the following, but not limited to: - Careful removal and salvaging of items to be re-used throughout the building - Strip out and removal of floor finishes, wall finishes, internal walls and staircases, doors, ceilings, roller shutters, louvres, signage and redundant services - Removal of roof access and roof coverings - Making good to walls, columns, slabs & soffits - Cleaning of existing concrete surfaces - Removal of existing external doors, windows, shutters, cills etc - Structural demolition of concrete slabs, walls, precast panels, staircase, load bearing masonry walls - Removal of existing steelwork - Forming of openings in RC slabs and walls - Removal of brickwork facade, precast beams, glazing framework to the roof
