A new bus structure shall be implemented in Trondheim by August 2019. The new structure includes the establishment of three main lines which shall be operated by own buses. The restructuring results in requirement for small and large measures along the three main lines. The main works in the framework agreement comprise reconstructing the current stops to a new standard, as well as smaller measures for road sections on municipal roads. The framework agreement period is 2 years, with a unilateral option for the Contracting Authority to extend the framework agreement for 1+1 year. Parallel framework agreements shall be entered into with up to 3 tenderers.

The restructuring results in requirement for small and large measures along the three main lines. The main works in the framework agreement comprise reconstructing the current stops to a new standard in accordance with the current engineering design instructions as well as smaller measures for road sections on municipal roads. The stations subject to construction has different lengths, from 25 to 60 metres. The actual platform shall have new coating, a snow melting plant and new shelters, cycle parking areas, ticket machines, real time information systems and new kerbstones shall be laid between the road and the platform. For some areas, the measures require new access by constructing new foot and cycle paths/pavements.
