The sporadic joint contracting of contracts for the provision of the service in the area of collection and transport of municipal waste in the municipality of Banyoles and in the municipalities of the Pla de l'Estany region is intended to jointly formalize the contract for the provision of the waste collection service of Banyoles and formalize with the Regional Council of Pla de l'Estany the municipal waste collection service contract in the municipalities of Camós, Cornellà del Terri, Crespià, Esponellà, Fontcoberta, Palol de Revardit, Porqueres, Sant Miquel de Campmajor, Serinyà and Vilademuls in the region of Pla de l'Estany.

The purpose of the contract is the provision of the municipal waste collection service of Banyoles to contribute to the environmental, economic and sustainable development of the city.

This contract is aimed at the collection of organic matter, rest, paper, glass and packaging of municipal household and commercial waste of the Regional Council of Pla de l'Estany, which includes the municipalities of Camós, Cornellà del Terri, Crespià, Esponellà, Fontcoberta, Palol de Revardit, Porqueres, Sant Miquel de Campmajor, Serinyà and Vilademuls, and incorporates the supply of compactor waste collection trucks and containers equipped with the identification technology necessary for the provision of the service.
