The food supply to preschools, schools, elderly and special housing and residents at home is provided in the municipality by a Dietary Department, which organizationally belongs to the Community Administration. The Nutrition Department currently employs about 60 people divided into the municipality's large production kitchen Navet, 23 receiver kitchens and two smaller cooking kitchens at Häggdånger School and Brunne School. The hub provides the reception kitchens in the preschools, schools and accommodation with food portions and sub-components (goods from Navet's own store), as well as lunch boxes for the residents at home with decisions on food distribution. Today, Navet cooks about 6,000 servings every weekday.
