The assignment or the procurement concerns project management for development, planning and construction of a new primary school and nursery school in Biri.
2.1) Description of the construction project.
Gjøvik Municipality has carried the motion for construction of a new primary school and nursery school in county council case 73/2020 and the approval is based on, (sitat).
1) The construction of a joint primary school for students at Biristrand and Skrinhagen schools. The school must be dimension as a two parallel school for 392 students.
2) The county council approves commencement of the preliminary project for construction of a six department nursery school and two parallel primary school located at Biri Primary School. The gross total framework is for NOK 188 million for the school and NOK 48 million for the nursery school, a combined total of NOK 236 million. Completion is planned for summer 2023. The preliminary project must be completed by the end of 2021.
3) A hearing will be held in connection with the change of district borders in-line with the provisions in Udir — 2 — 2012 [the Norwegian Directorate for Education and Training].
4) Quick clarification with landowners is assumed.
5) Building the new primary school without a gymnasium is being considered. Gjøvik Municipality will hold discussions with Biri sports clubs concerning leasing agreements for the use of Biri multi-purpose hall during the day. Facilitation of a private nursery school at Biristrand is taking place. The nursery school will be located at Biristrand school premises/property and will offer a new operator.

Construction start is approx. 1 December 2020 with completion 6 June 2023 and thereafter one year of commissioning.
2.2) Description of the assignment with project management.
The project is in an early phase. The assignment starts in November 2020 and will be completed during 2024.
In order to manage progress, review and organise the project further a company/business will be engaged to conduct project management. The project management must have good competence within all of the necessary disciplines including technical, hereunder alternative energy solutions. The main assignment for the project manager is to be the project's ‘daily leader.’
