The cities of Wuppertal and Solingen are planning a joint control center as a new building.

In principle, the new building should include the following uses (list not exhaustive):

Control center operating room with 18 operational control stations, offices, rest rooms, kitchen / coffee kitchen lounges, meeting room, sanitary facilities / locker rooms, sports room, classroom (for theoretical lessons), simulation control room for training and further education with technical equipment, training/AAP control center with 20 AAP workstations serving rooms and server / technical rooms, vehicle hall(s) for cars and two ELW2

The first three service phases must be completed within a period of 9 months from the date of commissioning. In total, a new construction volume of approx. 3,200 sqm GFA is assumed.

The total costs are currently estimated at approx. 16 million euros / gross for the cost group 200 - 700, which includes the costs of the control center technology in the amount of approx. 2.6 million euros / gross.

The order includes freelance planning services.

The following services are to be awarded:

- Technical equipment (service phases 1 - 3 and 5 - 9 (service phase 4 optional) according to HOAI § 55 in conjunction with Annex 15, for control center planning).

The required services are based on the service profiles of the HOAI. The client reserves the right to place an order in construction phases. It is envisaged that the services will be commissioned in stages. In a first stage, work phases 1 - 3 are commissioned. The decision to commission further service phases is made on the basis of the cost calculation in accordance with DIN 276 after completion of work phase 3.

The client reserves the right to award the measure to a general contractor. The service phases of the basic services are then reduced accordingly.
