Clanmil Housing Association on behalf of Connswater Homes Ltd wish to appoint a contractor for a New Build Social Housing development at Milewater Drive, New Mosley.

The contract is for the provision of 49 social housing units (subject to change on grounds of planning and/or department requirements) comprised of:

— 16 x 3 person 2 bedroom general needs houses,

— 5 x 5 person 3 bedroom general needs houses,

— 1 x 10 person 5 bedroom general needs house,

— 10 x 3 person 2 bedroom category 1 apartments,

— 10 x 2 person 1 bedroom general needs apartments,

— 1 x 3 person 2 bedroom complex needs bungalow,

— 2 x 5 person 4 bedroom complex needs bungalows,

— 3 x 6 person 4 bedroom complex needs bungalows,

— 1 x 7 person 4 bedroom complex needs bungalow.

The contract period is anticipated as 24 months from date of award and works are scheduled to commence on site by the end of March 2020. The new build scheme must achieve ‘Secured By Design’ and lifetime homes accreditation.
