Kystverket is the project manager and builder in the project Finnsnesrenna. Improvements are planned for the main channel and secondary channel through FInnsnesrenna. The main channel shall have a width of 150m and be deepened down to contour line -11.3, whilst the secondary channel shall have a width of 120m and be deepened down to contour line -8.3.

The uncompacted matter from the deepening works shall be deposited in a sea depot site, including some uncompacted matter that is polluted with TBT. The polluted matter shall be put at the bottom of the depot site.

The blasted stone matter shall be delivered to 2 private jetty projects. One belongs to Holmen boat association and the other belongs to Olderhamna boat association.
