A contract is offered for stockholding of selected very critical medicinal products in order to address supply difficulties in Denmark.

Due to the supply difficulties identified following Russia's aggression against Ukraine and consequent international instability, a decision has been made to temporarily build up increased stocks in Denmark of very critical pharmaceuticals. The purpose of the tender is thus to ensure that the winning bidder (the "Supplier") purchases medicinal products and maintains the necessary stock of the medicinal products in question for the duration of the Agreement

The purpose of the invitation to tender is to ensure the supply of the medicinal products concerned, including to maintain stocks in the event of supply difficulties. The Supplier shall maintain the stock required in Appendix 1 until 31 December 2023, after which the Supplier may dispose of the stock upon sale of the medicines.

The agreement is not exclusive, and the Danish Medicines Agency may therefore choose to enter into agreements with other companies on the establishment and maintenance of corresponding stocks of medicinal products.
