With this invitation to tender, the municipality of Sipoo will put out to tender a previously tendered but suspended subdivision (item 9. Special needs children Sipoo - Helsinki).

The object of the invitation to tender is the school transport of pupils in accordance with section 32 of the Basic Education Act. The principle of school transport is that the municipality primarily uses public transport when its use is possible. If the use of public transport is not possible, school transport services purchased from external service providers are used to transport students.

The service to be procured is described in more detail in the invitation to tender and its appendices.

The estimated value of the property excluding VAT for the entire contract period (4 years) is approximately EUR 452,000 and the maximum value is approximately EUR 515,000.

The suspended project to be put out to tender is part of a previously tendered entity, which is why the project will be included as part of a procurement contract signed for other sites.

The target of the procurement is school transport for special needs students in the area: Sipoo - Helsinki

As a rule, the transported journey takes place from the pick-up stop to the school and from the school back to the pick-up stop. In individual cases, the pick-up takes place from the student's own home yard and the return is made to the student's own home yard.

One (1) service provider will be selected as the supplier.
