Most of the assignments will be stand-by for bad weather, damages, accidents, etc. The assignments will require a quick response time. An established and functioning stand-by scheme is a prerequisite for being a relevant supplier of these services. In addition, the contract will include planned passenger transport for site inspection jobs, etc., where our own boats are not sufficient.
The assignments will be in all of Tensio TS' supply area, but most of the assignments will however be to islands and places without road connections along the coast of Trøndelag. (South Trøndelag).
The required service deliveries can be summed up as follows:
Stand-by: Stand-by means availability when situations require it, for example, power cuts, broken masts, breakdowns in submarine cables, transformers, etc., in areas that are only accessible by boat. It must be understood that in such situations, the weather can be everything from a slight breeze to near gal, and every situation must be assessed as regards safety for the crew and boat. It must also be understood that in turn-outs, the crew/personnel from the contracting authority must be set on land where it is most suitable on islands, islets, and skerries.
Passenger transport: Collection and delivery of personnel, transport to and from islands,
areas without a road connection, etc. A typical assignment will involve transporting 1-5 persons to an area for site inspection jobs, etc., including waiting at the location and return transport. The transport will mainly take place in daylight, but visibility can worsen (fog/cloud cover/darkness) whilst the site inspection or work is ongoing.
