The state of Brandenburg intends to hold the 17th state festival BRANDENBURG-TAG on Saturday, September 2nd and Sunday, September 3rd. The state government has commissioned the singing town of Finsterwalde to host the state festival under the motto “Music plays here - Welcome to Finsterwalde” (working title).
The aim is for the city of Finsterwalde to organise a successful, safe and unforgettable BRANDENBURG DAY together with the agency (s) commissioned by it.
The following services are awarded in two lots:
LOT 1 - Development and implementation of a complex event concept
LOT 2 - Development and implementation of a multimedia marketing concept
BRANDENBURG DAY 2023 event concept, development and implementationDevelopment and implementation of a complex event concept in compliance with a specified budget.
In particular:
- Recruiting, contracting and financing artists, actors and contributors in consultation with media partners.
- Support for artists, actors and contributors on Brandenburg Day in coordination with media partners.
- Design, implementation and financing of the opening event and
Evening event on Saturday and the final of a nationwide competition on Saturday as an independent event.
- Involvement of sponsors and ambassadors of BRANDENBURG Day.
- Development of stage plans for the event areas and stages and their implementation in consultation with media partners.
- Preparation of plans for land use - Securing the use of the event site, of time and financial plans for the overall organization.
- Development and implementation of a logistics concept for transport, assembly and dismantling.
- Obtaining all necessary public authorizations for the implementation of the events and their financial security
- Organization of event areas including setup/dismantling/clearing out/repair.
- Assistance in the development and implementation of the official
BRANDENBURG-TAG 2023 security concept
Development and implementation of a multimedia marketing conceptIn order to successfully hold the BRANDENBURG Day, a marketing concept for public relations and advertising must be developed as a detailed concept, taking into account local conditions, and then implemented.
The state festival is to be conceptually developed and promoted as a two-day festival with a motto. Any events of the host city on the day before the state festival must be integrated.
BRANDENBURG TAG is primarily a state project. This must be reflected in a broad and extensive presentation of the tourism, economic, cultural and sporting achievements and activities of the regions of the state of Brandenburg.
It is necessary to work closely with the agency commissioned for LOT 1 - development and implementation of a complex event concept.
Communication strategy planning and implementation of public relations and press work in coordination with the Programme Advisory Board should be determined, among other things, by:
- The creation of media attention for the state festival - image promotion for the state and the host city.
- The pride and commitment of singer Finsterwalde and the Elbe-Elster district to be hosts.
- Continuous promotion of the umbrella brand, including experience reports, press releases, print products, digital media in the Brandenburg and Berlin area as well as selected target areas in Saxony.
- The acquisition of visitors to the festival from the states of Brandenburg, Berlin, Saxony.
- Aligning communication in 2023 as “The Year of Brandenburg Day.”
