The municipality of Moerdijk, hereinafter referred to as the contracting authority or client, intends to conclude a framework agreement for engineering services with three (3) parties for civil engineering and infrastructural works.

The parties that apply for the selection phase are hereinafter referred to as candidates. The ten parties that have been (provisionally) selected to participate in the award phase are hereinafter referred to as selected candidates. The selected candidates shall be designated as tenderers as soon as the award phase has started. The winning tenderers are referred to as framework contractors or contractors.

We assume that the need will consist of various activities during the term of the framework agreement. The activities include:

1. Activities where the quality requirements and the substantive requirements set by the client are known in advance. For example, a preliminary design, final design or RAW specifications for a project/work in public space.

2. On the other hand, work must also be carried out in which the substantive requirements in this tender have not yet been determined. These products include the following products:

• In consultation with, among others, an urban or landscape design agency, elaboration of a preliminary design for the public space. The actual design work is carried out by a design agency. The consultancy provides technical input;

• In consultation, with, among other things, urban or landscape design office, elaboration of the preliminary design into a final design of public space. The contractor to be contracted is the driving force behind this phase, whereby the design office, from its

discipline as designer, provides input for the manufacture for the final design of public space;

• Providing general civil engineering advice, such as drawing work, cost calculations (SSK), variant studies, etc.;

• Drawing up tender documents including RAW specifications and associated drawings and documents for the execution of civil engineering and infrastructural works.
