Kvam herad would like to enter into a framework agreement with a tenderer for sweeping and inspections in Kvam herad for residences and holiday homes in accordance with the Fire and Explosion Protection Act, section 11, and the regulations on fire prevention, section 17..

Chimneys must be swept as required, normally annually. There are more than 6200 registered chimneys in Kvam, single and double. The chimneys are from 1 to 3 heights, and made of brick or another element. Distance of the outer border in the herad: Gravdal - Kjepso approx. 80 km.

Inspections of heating plants must be carried out if required, in accordance with the regulations on fire protection, normally every fourth year.
