On 9 March 2020 the contracting authorities published a Voluntary Ex-Ante Transparency (VEAT) Notice (ref 2020/S 048-114899) setting out their intention to award a 12-month contract to their incumbent provider. Due to the impact of Covid-19 the project was delayed which means that an additional contract for up to 6 months is being awarded to North East London NHS Foundation Trust.

This contract award notice covers the full period from 1 November 2020 and will finish by no later than 31 March 2022.

On 9 March 2020 the contracting authorities published a Voluntary Ex-Ante Transparency (VEAT) Notice (ref 2020/S 048-114899) setting out their intention to award a 12-month contract to their incumbent provider. This additional time would allow the contracting authorities to properly review the service model, undertaking robust market and stakeholder engagement which will be utilised to inform a procurement process to put in place a longer term contract whilst ensuring continuity of care for its children and young people.

Following the publication of the VEAT Notice the project was delayed due to the impact of Covid-19 whilst essential commissioning resources were needed elsewhere. This means that an additional contract for up to 6 months is being awarded to North East London NHS Foundation Trust.

This contract award notice covers the full period from 1 November 2020 and will finish by no later than 31 March 2022. This contractual value identified sets out the value of the full 17-month contractual period.

The procurement process for these services is being planned and will commence during the early part of 2021.
