The Bavarian water management offices monitor the discharge of wastewater from municipal sewage treatment plants and industrial or commercial discharges into water bodies as part of the technical water supervision. Wastewater samples produced in the course of this monitoring are examined by private laboratories approved for wastewater testing in Bavaria.
The subject of the present award procedure is the analysis of wastewater samples from municipal sewage treatment plants.
