Based on a cost estimate, the costs of the overall measure amount to approx. EUR 2,510,000 million net (KG 300 + 400).

The municipal sewage treatment plant in the district Nieder-Gemünden no longer meets the technical requirements for wastewater disposal and should be shut down.

It is planned to build a waste water pressure line with pumping station to connect the wastewater treatment plant Nieder-Gemünden with the district sewage treatment plant Nieder-Ohmen. The pressure line is about 4.1 km long. At the lowest point (about 215 m above sea level) at the wastewater treatment plant Nieder-Gemünden, the pumping station is planned. The highest point (245 m above sea level) is located at the end of the pressure line, at the inlet to the district sewage treatment plant Nieder-Ohmen. The planned route has 5 high and 4 low points.
