The object of the contract is to carry out all the activities necessary for the replacement of the meters in operation with new certified meters (MID) prepared for remote reading.

The object of the contract is to carry out all the activities necessary for the replacement of the meters in operation with new certified meters (MID) prepared for remote reading, as follows:

a. installation of about 34,500 static or mechanical NBIot smart meter cold water meters designed for remote reading, with a nominal standard diameter DN15 or DN20, supplied by the Customer, to be installed to replace existing measuring groups.

b. all related and ancillary services for the Contractor such as: supply of valves, fittings and accessory materials; procedures for setting up new meters; storage of replaced meters; final disposal of waste materials; charges for the adaptation of existing connection pipes to the length of the new meters (e.g. installation of logs or shanks or additional special pieces, cutting/modification of upstream/valley pipes); charges for the search for pipes, shut-off valves and any interventions on the connections to allow the replacement of the meter, including the fulfillment of all the activities necessary for the prior acquisition of consent to operate by the interested party (the Contracting Authority for the upstream pipe, the User for the downstream pipe);

c. all activities of planning and organization of activities with the user, and 24-hour availability service, including holidays, aimed at managing any urgent calls from users for whom the meter has been replaced.

The service must be provided in the manner and within the terms set out in the Special Tender Specifications.

Main services: all the services referred to in points a. and b. above;

Secondary services: planning service and organization of activities with user and on-call service referred to in point c.

These services will be rendered in the municipalities constituting the scope of intervention, namely in the municipalities of Adria, Castelmassa, Castelnovo Bariano, Corbola, Crespino, Gavello, Loreo, Papozze, Polesella, Porto Viro, Rosolina, Rovigo, Taglio di Po and Villanova Marchesana in the Province of Rovigo, and in the Municipality of Cavarzere in the Province of Venice.
