The object of the “BAe Dual” measure is the implementation of vocational training in external institutions (BAe) according to § 16 para. 1 SGB II in conjunction with sections 76 et seq. of the SGB III and §§ 4 et seq. the Vocational Training Act (BBiG) /§§ 25 ff. Act on the Order of the Craft (Hand Order) — General Vocational Training Including Level Training. Performance aims to enable trainees who require special assistance due to learning impairment or social disadvantage to enter, continue and successfully complete vocational training in an external institution through vocational training. The contractor has to take advantage of and exploit all possibilities that promote the trainee's transition to in-company training.

The measure “Vocational training BAe Dual” consists of the elements according to the “combined model” and the “cooperative model”.

The measure “Vocational training BAe Dual” consists of the elements according to the “combined model” and the “cooperative model”. BAE Dual is divided into 2 training stages: 1. Start of training until completion of the mid-term examination, 2nd intermediate examination until completion of the training.In the first section, 90% of places are available for integrative training/10% for cooperative training. In section 2, at least 60% of the places are earmarked for cooperative/company training. Two-year apprenticeships (machine and plant operator) and three-year apprenticeships (cook, office management clerk, painter) are advertised as part of the measure. 18-24 places for participants per training start year. The contract period covers the year 2022 and a 3-year apprenticeship. The 2023 and 2024 vintage will only start if the client makes use of a contractual extension option.
