Datacenter devices play a key role in serving Aalto University's 10,000 workstations, 2,000 servers and over 30,000 users. Aalto University's research requires a high-quality IT infrastructure and the ability to increase capacity flexibly. Aalto University's research activities are computing and data intensive, such as the Science-IT infrastructure, where, for example, a computing server for 10,000 processor cores with 2 PiB storage capacities attached.
