The Kingston Academy opened its doors in September 2015 in temporary accommodation. The Academy is still within a transition period, in temporary accommodation until the planned moved into the new building in September 2018.

Currently there are 520 pupils and 60 staff and in September 2018 pupil numbers will increase by a further 183 and staff numbers increasing to 80. There will be 1 200 pupils when it reaches full capacity, plus 120 staff members.

The Academy wishes to appoint a catering Contractor to operate with a partnership approach towards a professional, courteous and seamless service which offers value for money and demonstrates best industry practice on a profit share basis. The scope of catering provision is to cover breakfast, morning break, lunch, after school snacks and some hospitality.
