The supply includes a flue gas cooler including ducts to be installed at an existing coal fired power plant located at Nordjyllandsværket in the city of Aalborg.

The flue gas cooler will be established as a part of a biomass co-firing project.

The supply includes process design and mechanical design incl. CFD calculations, manufacturing, supply, installation, testing and commissioning. The flue gas cooler shall have a thermal capacity of 25 MW and shall be connected to the existing flue gas ducts in parallel to the air pre heater. The flue gas cooler shall be equipped with necessary cleaning facilities.

The boiler is an 845 MW thermal super critical coal dust fired boiler.

Cooling medium for the flue gas cooler is condensate (water) to be heated from 80 to approx. 200 °C.

The flue gas shall be cooled from approx. 380 to 100 °C.

The supplier shall be able to provide maintenance and support to the equipment.
